🏒Went on a field trip last night to Sparty Country to watch one of our own defend the net and took home the win against MSU! We also experienced first hand the rollercoaster of being proud parents of the goalie! 😬

It's always fun to see our patients doing what they love, and of course, smiling!

Anyone else feel like you needed your own mouth guard to chew during Team USA Hockey this morning, or was it just me?

But in all seriousness, mouth guards are for protecting your teeth. I see it in NHL, NFL, boxing, etc. where athletes are chewing the guard - which does help manage cortisol levels in stressful situations, but if it's not worn properly, can lead to serious smile damage 🦷 (Jack Hughes, thanks for avenging your teeth with the winning goal!)

Protect those teeth and opt for a full face shield (shout out to Megan Keller 💪) if the guard is in the way.
