Here are just a few of the incredible spirit photographs captured during the Howell Ghost Tour.

The first photograph dates back to 2014 — the very first spirit photo ever taken on our tours. It was captured in front of Sunny J’s. If you look closely at the right-hand side of the image, you’ll see a man standing there. What’s remarkable is that this figure completely replaced the image of the girl who took the photo. She had long blonde hair, yet you can’t see her at all. On the left side of the photo, you’ll notice a girl wearing a black-and-white striped sweater — and standing right beside her is a ghostly man who even appears to be wearing glasses.

The second photograph was taken at the entrance of The Chocolate Boutique. In it, you can clearly see a man leaning against the building, looking directly toward the person taking the photo — but that man was not physically present at the time.

The third image was captured in Howell’s beautiful and well-known downtown alleyway. The dark figure you see in this photo was also not there in person — and this picture was taken right in front of about 25 witnesses.

In the fourth photo, a woman is seen taking a picture of a stairway. But if you look closely behind her, you’ll notice something eerie — a hooded figure with large hands appears to be taking the photo instead, exactly where her hands should be.

The final photograph was taken inside the old Schaefer’s Music Building. Normally, you would expect to see the reflection of the person holding the camera — but in this case, that reflection has been completely replaced by a mysterious entity. This particular spirit has appeared in many photographs over the years, and he seems to enjoy taking over the reflections of those behind the lens.

ALL TOUR AND BOOKING INFORMATION

The Howell Ghost Tour is an outdoor walking experience through the historic streets of Downtown Howell, Michigan. This tour has grown in popularity due to tour participants capturing ghostly or spiritual figures in their photos.
Be sure cell phones are fully charged if you’d like to capture a ghost photo! Each tour is a 45-minute walk and departs in all weather conditions. Please dress accordingly!

The tour departs on time, every time and meets in front of:

Howell’s Main Street Winery
201 W. Grand River Ave.
Howell, MI 48843

DATES:
Thursday - One Tour @ 8PM
23rd, 30th

Friday - Two Tours - 8PM and 9PM
24th, 31st.

Saturday - Two Tours - 8PM and 9PM
25th

COST: $25.00 per person

Saturdays - 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th - 2 Tours 8PM and 9PM

Tickets are $25 per person.

I captured this video Sunday evening. I was outside when I noticed the sun doing something truly extraordinary—colors I’ve never seen before, and it looked like it was swirling. I ran inside to grab my phone, and this is what I caught on camera.
