Please welcome Helena Berardinelli as the new Regional Director of Recreation in NJ!

Helena is a dynamic healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in therapeutic recreation and person-centered care. As Regional Director of Recreation, she oversees strategic program development across multiple facilities, driving innovation in dementia care, wellness, and engagement.

Helena: (buckle up...)

- holds a Master’s in Dance/Movement Therapy
- as well as Counseling Psychology
- is a Certified Dementia Capable Care Instructor
- is a Certified Activity Director

(we're not done yet)

- is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner
- and a Certified Zumba instructor!

She is a recognized presenter and contributor to national and regional professional organizations, known for advancing inclusive, evidence-based practices in long-term care settings.

During her personal time, she enjoys taking Pilates and Zumba classes at local studios. Her husband, Michael, and she enjoy traveling and always look forward to their next adventure.
