Monday June 22nd close contact services such as massage will be permitted to open as part of the Governor’s initiation of Phase 2 Step 2 process and I am happy to announce that I will begin booking clients.

I am working to make an improved massage therapy space in accordance with CDC, Massachusetts guidelines, American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and Massage and Bodyworkers guidelines and as needed will update my practice as to match the most current guidelines. I am working to ensure that the space will still provide a private and peaceful massage space, but will also include direct access to a sink for hand washing, improved ventilation

I will be open to booking 1 hour for $60 and 90 ($85) minute massages for my regular clients for the month of July with a start date of July 1st, 2020. There will be a minimum window of two hours between client sessions to allow for proper cleaning and sanitation. Sessions will be held to a strict schedule to ensure that there is enough time for cleaning and sanitation.

While anxious to reopen Hands Down Massage Therapy will be opening are part of Massachusetts phase two, which may begin on June 8 at the earliest.
Appointment will be booked in advance with a review of medical history.
While sanitation of the massage table and linens have always occurred between each appointment additional sanitation of doorways and general common areas, and massage products will also be taking place.
Clients and massage therapist(s) will be asked to wear a mask during the massage session until further notice.
Information on reopening and booking appointments will be coming out closer to the anticipated June 8th reopening date.
