Here’s a simple storm prep checklist to keep in mind:
✔ Clear gutters and downspouts
✔ Bring in or secure outdoor furniture
✔ Check your sump pump and drains
✔ Trim back overhanging branches
✔ Make sure flashlights and batteries are easy to find
✔ Take a quick look at your coverage so there are no surprises later

It doesn’t take much to get ahead of it, but it can save you a lot of stress when the weather turns.
