✨ Feel more grounded in everyday life

We’ll also be gathering participant feedback to strengthen the program and help us bring it to even more older adults in the future.

Dangers of Youth Va**ng: What Parents Need to Know
Wednesday, March 25 | 6:00 PM | Zoom

Youth va**ng continues to affect young people in our community. Many e-cigarettes are designed to look like everyday items, making them difficult for adults to detect. Behind the appealing flavors and designs are harmful chemicals and ni****ne addiction

The DAET Coalition is hosting this free virtual presentation in partnership with Parents Against Va**ng (PAVe). Parents, caregivers, school staff, and community members are encouraged to attend to learn about current trends, warning signs, and how to talk with young people about prevention and quitting.

Registration is required. The Zoom link will be sent after you RSVP.

Talking with young people about cannabis is one of the most important things a parent or caregiver can do, but it’s also one of the hardest.

Many adults worry about saying the wrong thing, starting an argument, or pushing their child away. Others simply don’t know where to begin. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone. Most families face barriers when it comes to discussing substance use, especially cannabis.

The good news? You can overcome every one of those barriers... and you don’t have to be an expert, have all the answers, or deliver a perfect speech. You just have to start the conversation.
