🐾 Adopt Bear – Our Gentle Giant 🐾
Bear is a 2-year-old Akbash / German Shepherd / Anatolian mix looking for his forever home. He’s about 140 pounds of love, super affectionate, walks nicely on a leash, and has gotten along with most dogs at our boarding facility for the past two years.
He’s also in a Awesome alert dog he will let you know if there’s an issue very good guard dog 
He would do best as a house dog with a big couch and lots of attention. Bear has a strong chase drive, so no chickens or small livestock, and he’ll need a tall, secure fence.
He’s been waiting a long time for someone to choose him. We truly care about this boy and want to see him in a loving home. We will be very picky about who he goes home with. By the way, he is one of my livestock guardian dogs puppies we rehomed him as a puppy. They gave him back because he hopped off fences as you can imagine he’s tall and needs secure fencing he has not gotten out of the fencing that we have provided not once if you have secure fencing, he will not get out if he’s loved he will not try to get out. I feel like he was not happy there. He’s terrified of water. I think he was abused 
At this point, we feel it’s necessary to take him to a animal shelter if we cannot find a home because it is not fair for him to live in a boarding facility 
The only reason we can’t keep him as we have tons of livestock and chickens if we did not have that he would be here in a heartbeat forever and ever
