Sigrid is back for an open level dance workshop for every body :))) 🎵 🌀🕳️

Dance as poetry, power, and prayer

Our session begins with an aerobic warm-up before moving into four choreographic phrases that weave together synchronized movement and improvisation for cathartic release.

Movement and emotion exist in a continuous loop: each gesture evokes feeling, and each feeling shapes the next movement.

Class culminates in assembling our phrases into a sequence drawn from Sigrid’s choreographic repertoire: a structure for movers to embody, express and excavate.

Open to all levels of movement experience, ages 18 and up.

Herbs provided from the GOODWITCH apothecary, to support our practice.

Now that winter is here, priorities are shifting to heaters blankets, and warm clothing for children and families living in tents.

So excited to reopen my herbal teaching practice with this new hybrid online/in-person container, inspired by our monthly Tarot Club meetings.

Each month in Tarot Club, we’ve been meditating with a seasonal herb, chatting about a corresponding card/archetype, and hanging out reading for ourselves and others. It’s feeling so good to have that easy space to learn and connect with each other.

You might remember BODYSPELL online way back in 2020, or maybe you attended one IRL at Performance Space over the last few years.

This practice is near & dear & truly at the heart of how I work with the herbs creatively and as medicine.

Since Tarot Club has been such a smash, I’m reviving BODYSPELL as a deep-dive into our monthly herb—we’ll share medicinal, folkloric, ethnobotanical and personal plant stories. We’ll flow back and forth between personal process and collective sharing, moving, meditating, drawing, writing, talking…

This is a practice for deepening and affirming your relationship with the herbs.
