Thank you all for the referrals, but I am NOT accepting ANY clients currently! This includes birth, postpartum, and meal prep!

I have to dedicate a LOT of time to school, studying, and my own family, so I cannot be selfish and take on the needs of others when I need to fill my OWN cup.

I will not be working at ALL during this time, so as much as I’ve enjoyed serving those that needed me, I must pass on all inquiries.

I’m VERY serious about school, and I hope you all understand. 💖

Stop letting family members and friends force you into doing things you DON’T want to do!

With holiday gatherings you’ll have grandmas and aunties who will PURPOSELY hold your baby and not give them back JUST so you won’t breastfeed and say, “Oh I can just give him/her a bottle!”

Some will even intentionally separate you from your baby and say, “He/She needs to get off mama’s hip!”
“He/she’s a t***y baby!”
And MAKE that baby cry because they want their parent! 😡

Don’t let these people get away with things like that!

You do NOT have to let anyone hold your baby at all!
You don’t have to skip breastfeeding to please anyone!
You definitely don’t have to go to spaces that aren’t welcoming or safe for you to parent as you please!

The older generations often believe that grandchildren, (great) nieces, and (great) nephews are extensions of themselves, therefore they believe they have a say-so on how things are done…and they’re WRONG!

As adults, they have NO control over us! YOU decide what’s best for you and your children! The holidays are no exception!

In a state of reaction, Anyone can take charge because you’re no longer in control of yourself.

Reacting:
•Body tensing up
•Feeling disconnected from your body
•Anxiety
•Opposition to a situation (labor/pain)
•Fear-based
•Lack of self-awareness
•Gives away your power

Control the way you respond to what’s happening...THAT is your power!

Responding:
•Intentional
•Feels safe
•Self-awareness
•Empowering
•Grounding
•Preserves your power
•Involves listening!

Sometimes it could be the difference between an unwanted outcome, and a favorable outcome.
