Over the past two days, our team had the opportunity to attend the RICH Conference presented by SOS Recovery Community Organization—one of the Northeast’s premier gatherings focused on peer recovery and harm reduction.

This year’s conference brought together an incredible range of voices—from clinicians and healthcare providers to advocates, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience—all centered around advancing recovery through innovation, inclusion, and evidence-based practices.

The conversations over these two days focused on:
-Emerging approaches in peer-based recovery support
-Harm reduction strategies grounded in real-world impact
-The importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in treatment and recovery spaces
-Policy and system-level changes shaping the future of care

At Heartfelt Recovery Centers, being part of spaces like this matters. It ensures we stay aligned with the most current, compassionate, and effective approaches to care—while continuing to advocate for a recovery system that meets people where they are.

We’re grateful to have been part of such a meaningful experience.

Hearing from people who have been through it matters.

At Heartfelt Recovery Centers, we focus on creating a space where individuals feel supported, understood, and guided every step of the way.

These are real experiences from people who have trusted us with their recovery—and their words speak for themselves.

We had the opportunity to welcome some incredible guest speakers today who shared their personal stories of recovery—and it was truly powerful.

There’s something different about hearing it firsthand. The honesty, the growth, the resilience—it reminds us all that recovery is possible and that no one is alone in this.

Grateful for the courage it takes to share, and for everyone who showed up, listened, and took something with them.

Moments like these are what recovery is all about. 🩷

Most people don’t struggle with substance use alone.

Anxiety. Depression. Trauma. Stress.
These are often part of the picture—and when they go untreated, the cycle continues.

Dual diagnosis treatment means addressing both mental health and substance use at the same time—not separately.

Because they’re connected.
And real recovery means treating the whole picture.

If you’ve been trying to ā€œjust stopā€ and it hasn’t worked, there may be more going on underneath—and that’s okay. There’s a better way to approach it.

Sometimes it’s not about how much you drink—
it’s about why, when, and how it leaves you feeling.

This isn’t a diagnosis.
It’s just a quick, honest check-in with yourself.

If a few of these questions hit close to home, it might be time to take a closer look.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own. If you’re struggling, reach out—we’re here to help you take the next step. 🩷

It's not always about the alcohol.

Sometimes it's about:
Stress. Anxiety. Loneliness. The past.

When those things go unaddressed, alcohol can start to feel like the only way to cope.

But you don't have to keep doing this on your own.

Real support looks deeper—and helps you actually work through what's underneath.
