St Croix Therapy offers outpatient physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy along with many specialized services. The primary populations we serve are children with developmental delays, children with disabilities and children with behavioral or sensory processing needs. Besides therapy we provide adaptive, one-on-one swim lessons, swim groups and open swim throughout the year. In the summer we offer socials skills and feeding groups as well. We were founded in 1986 and have since become a nonprofit. We are proud to be part of the St. Croix Valley and look forward to many more years of service to our clients and families!

St. Croix Therapy was proud to host our 2nd annual Sensory-Friendly Santa event, and it was incredible to see so much holiday spirit and joy shared throughout the afternoon and evening.

This event created a calm, welcoming space where children could meet Santa at their own pace—without pressure—and families could enjoy meaningful moments and capture special memories together. ❤️

A very special thank you to “Elf” Grandma Ida for creating the thoughtful, personalized gifts that made the day even more magical. 🎁

It Didn’t Feel Like Therapy

"When I was a child, therapy at Special Children Center (St Croix Therapy) it didn’t feel like therapy at all. It was loud and chaotic and hilarious, huge mats, handmade pillows, swings, bolsters, and kids learning together. I didn’t love everything I was being made to do, but it felt like home. Those years built the strength and muscle memory that still support me at age 41. As an adult with cerebral palsy, I’ve struggled to find therapy that truly understands my needs. St Croix Therapy remains one of the few places with deep expertise to provide therapy for my condition and other complex disabilities. For families like mine, that expertise is everything."
