Fall scents poured. These will be available at River's Edge Campground and Resort this weekend. Calling out all my candle customers from the last 11 yrs. Come down check out the campground. There is still time to book a weekend or two before it's closed for the season. 100% of the proceeds go to the benefit the Campground Children's Fund & Activities. Fall scents are $20 ea. 16 oz. jars. We also have some summer scents priced to sell 2/$25. This is the lineup for this weekend. Stop in say hello and get a private tour.

My sister and I were talking about how we associate smells with memories. Our grandmother would send us to our neighbor's house when we were little from time to time to deliver things and everytime we stepped through the door the smell of something baking in the oven filled the air. We always asked what they were making, each time they answered nothing. It was just the smell of their house. We talked about another memory of visiting our paternal grandparents and we associate that house with the smell of crayons. My sister went on to say that my niece would tell her that it always smells like candles or clean laundry at my house. I smiled and said "What a beautiful memory I leave with her of my home." Certain smells bring back the fondest memories. What are some of yours?
