Day 5 of our 42 days of holiday cheer is celebrating the calm before the blizzard.

So we stayed inside where it’s warm and had a community wide holiday decorating effort!

It’s so exciting to see it all come together and to officially kick off the start of December!

On the fourth day of holiday cheer we lit our first advent candle, celebrating hope!

Our Resident Services Director, Kelsey, did the honors!

Ohr hope for this holiday is to spend meaningful time with friends and family.

On our third day of holiday cheer we celebrated small business Saturday!

Double Shot in Stow keeps our staff running and well fueled so we dropped off a little lotter-tree for the team to show our thanks.

For the second day of holiday cheer we are celebrating the land that we occupy.

Last year we had a beautiful woodcarvied piece made for us by artist, Raven Wolden.

This year we have a beautiful pit fired clay bowl, made by artist, Reuben Ironhorse-Kent. In memory of the peoples who lived in the Midwest, precinct, and developed by the Oneota culture.

Our residents enjoyed seeing the pieces on display in our library!

Our culinary team did a wonderful job again yesterday with our all day Thanksgiving menu.

Comfort food is always the best when it’s cold out, so this hit the spot!

With Thanksgiving this year comes our 42 DAYS OF HOLIDAY CHEER!

Day one is all about being grateful, so we put up our thankful tree and gretitude journal and are filling it with the things that bring us joy.

It will be up all winter so feel free to stop in and tell us what you’re thankful for this holiday season! And while you’re at it, we are having a cold weather wear drive in the same spot. Any and all cold weather gear will be donated to a local shelter.
