Willow the therapy dog and his handler, Dave, stopped by for their weekly visit, spreading smiles, comfort, and lots of furry love with our members. These visits are a favorite around here —and it’s easy to see why! 💙🐶

Members of the Firefighter’s Home recently enjoyed guided tours at the FASNY Museum of Firefighting. Staff shared that everyone had a wonderful time exploring the exhibits and learning about the rich history on display.

Several members were excited to find trucks and artifacts from their own counties — and even from the very firehouses where they once served.

We’re grateful to the museum for welcoming our group and helping create a memorable experience.

On Tuesday, the residents and staff at the Firefighter’s Home came together to honor the veterans who call our community home. Each veteran was presented with a carnation in recognition of their service and sacrifice.

We were also grateful to be joined by entertainers Bill and Wayne, who performed a selection of patriotic songs that added a meaningful and uplifting spirit to the day.

Thank you to all who participated in making this Veterans Day observance so special. And to our veterans: we are proud to honor you, today and every day!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Firefighter’s Home 2nd Annual Open House this past Saturday in Hudson!

Guests enjoyed guided tours of the Firefighter’s Home, got fired up over a spicy chili cook-off, and brought their best game to the Co****le Tournament, where competition was fierce for cash prizes.

It was a day full of fun, food, and community spirit — and we’re so grateful for your support. We look forward to welcoming you back for future events!

Nowhere will a volunteer firefighter find greater care than at the FASNY Firemen's Home.

Tucked away in New York State's scenic and centrally located Hudson Valley, the Home celebrates the longstanding tradition of brotherhood in the volunteer fire service. We maintain a high level of service to residents and appreciation for the service that our members committed to their communities.

The pride of the Firemen's Association of the State of New York (FASNY), our 120 peaceful acres have been a volunteer firefighter haven for 125 years.
