Today is a very special day — the day our owner and founder, Scott, began his recovery journey and started what would eventually become Heartfelt. What began with one decision to get sober has grown into something that has touched thousands of lives.

Scott has made a profound impact on individuals in recovery, on families, and on our entire community. His story is living proof that recovery is possible and that purpose can grow from pain. Beyond the clients we serve, Scott has also touched the heart of every staff member who has walked through Heartfelt’s doors. He invests deeply in people, believing in their potential and nurturing their growth both professionally and personally.

His faith is woven into everything he does — from the way he leads to the way he shows up for others — and that foundation is felt throughout our organization every single day.

Today we want to take a moment to recognize one of our clients, Josh, for an incredible act of honesty and kindness.

Josh found Laura’s wallet in a parking lot and didn’t just leave it to chance — he went above and beyond to make sure it was safely returned to her. In a world where it can be easy to look the other way, Josh chose integrity, compassion, and doing the right thing when no one was watching.

Today was one of those moments that truly reflects what Heartfelt is all about — community, connection, and showing up for one another.

Staff, alumni, and clients all came together to show support for our Alumni Coordinator and a true Heartfelt legend, Corey O’Reily. The turnout alone spoke volumes, but what stood out most was the genuine love, respect, and gratitude in the room. Corey has poured so much into this community — supporting others, walking alongside people in recovery, and creating a space where alumni stay connected and continue to grow.

It was powerful to see everyone show up for him the same way he has shown up for so many others.

This is what recovery community looks like. This is what Heartfelt family means. 💙
