wellness is a lifestyle.

1. I don’t see vacation as an excuse to stop choosing what I would do at home, including my supplements

2. Zinc Oxide is superior to Synthetic Sunscreen as it is a much safer for hormones. What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it.

3. Sleep is a non negotiable and I want to be able to do that no matter if I am on a red eye flight across the seas, in a hotel or air BNB, or on a boat cruising across the ocean. Eye masks and ear plugs help assure me that I’ll get a good nights rest.

4. A little mini “as needed pack” —- tea to help with “travelers constipation,” gin gin for gas and bloating, cough drops, and LMNT for those days that I could use some extra hydration

5. A vacation (to me) is a place to unwind and be with the people and surrounding environment and let my nervous system reset. I replace phones, tv, and computers for books, journals, and maybe a quick game of solitaire.

Glasses are more than just a pair of frames on my face or a pretty picture. Born with strabismus and an astigmatism, requiring eye surgery as an infant, glasses are the scope that I get to live and experience life. Glasses have allowed me to read and study so I could pass my boards and become a doctor and it has allowed me to see clearly when challenging myself on a difficult mountain hike or competing in a race. It has allowed me to give back to my community. It has allowed me to see beautiful places of the world or the most wonderful moments like my wedding day.
