FEBRUARY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH - Susan Busko, Life Enhancement Manager
Congratulations to Susan Busko for being voted the February Employee of the Month! Susan works tirelessly to provide an activities environment where residents can thrive at all levels of need. She gives her time, talents, and resources beyond measure. Susan manages 12 Life Enhancement staff members serving our entire community including Independent Living, Greenwood Assisted Living and Crown Center Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.
For example, during the holiday season, Susan not only led her team in organizing a robust schedule of events, she worked late into the evening and over weekends to make sure areas were decorated beautifully. When other staff began catching their breath in January, Susan and her staff were still hard at work tearing down and storing all of the trees and decorations, planning 2026 events, and scheduling rooms for both staff and resident activities without overlap. Susan demonstrates Laurel Lake’s core values daily - in the way she serves residents and staff alike. Thank you for all you do Susan!
