I didn’t need to add God to my recovery.
I started with Him.
When faith is your foundation, everything else becomes a supplement—not the source.
That’s why Selah House exists.
We don’t teach the Twelve Steps. We don’t anchor ourselves in secular programs. We teach the Word. We focus on the Fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
You cannot live that life and keep drinking.
You cannot honor God in those things and numb yourself.

The RU Recovery Ministry is excited to serve those who have been hurt, those who struggle, and those who want to help a loved one who struggles.
Our RU Recovery Ministry is a chapter of a nationwide program which is a Bible-based program that directs those with difficult, life-dominating issues to the support group established by God – the body of believers.
We invite you to join us every Friday night 7:00PM at Sanctuary Place 3233 Greenly St. Hudsonville and find how the Truth can make you free indeed! Come by yourself or bring a loved one, we even have a special group for children 5yo and up.

What a first year it has been! We are deeply grateful for every prayer, donation, kind word, referral, volunteer hour, and moment of faith-filled encouragement. God has done more than we could have imagined in our first year at Selah House Recovery.

As we step into 2026, we do so with great expectation—trusting the healing, mercy, and transformation God will bring to the women who will walk through our doors. Our team is growing, He is stretching us in new ways, and we are excited to continue this work He has called us to.
