One of our clients called me tonight from the wall phone using his last bit of money he had just to wish us a Merry Christmas. Friday he will have more money on his wall phone and an extra something in his books to buy himself something. This is not a something he gets often and it warms my heart to be able to provide something like this for our clients with no family.

We posted an urgent need last week for one of our clients who was told he was leaving the next day. Well they sent him to PREP but he’ll be out in 90 days. The need is still there for him upon completion of PREP.

Y’all have been awesome and I have already received 2 pair of jeans and a hoodie for him. We are so very greatful for everyone who helps support us even if it’s just by sharing our posts. If you would like and are able to I’m attaching the link for the Amazon wish list for this gentleman. I know there are clothes closets where he can get used donated clothing but I think that everyone just feels extra special with a brand new outfit on and mental health is so important especially when newly released. Again thank you all for your help and support.

🚨 URGENT REENTRY NEED – RELEASE TODAY 🚨

We found out late last night that one of our clients is being released TODAY and will be transitioning directly into reentry housing. Because of the short notice, he is in immediate need of clothing, shoes, toiletries, and basic essentials to start this next chapter with dignity.

We have set up an Amazon Wish List for his immediate needs, or you may make a financial donation designated specifically for him.

🤍 Every item purchased will be given directly to him
🤍 All funds donated for him will be used only for his needs

If you have items to donate and are located in or around Hueytown or Bessemer, donations can be picked up.
