If you need your Maryland Handgun Permit renewal here are some guidelines for ya.

The renewal process is an 8-hour class with re-qualification.
The renewal application is done on the Maryland State Police website Licensing Portal.
You can take a new updated picture with your cell phone and upload it.
You will NOT need another set of fingerprints.
The renewal class is good for 2 years.

If you are looking to get your Handgun Permit keep in mind the permit class also satisfies the requirement for your HQL at no extra charge and it will be free through the State too.
You do not need to own a firearm to take the class or get the carry permit. We provide guns and ammo for the class.
