Michael Forbus of Messer passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 73. Known by his friends as "Forbus", he enjoyed riding and training horses, and living as a lifelong cowboy, where he was referred to as the "Outlaw."

Graveside services for Forbus were held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Messer, Oklahoma.

Ruth Ann Baldwin, long-time resident of Hugo, Oklahoma, passed into eternity on October 24, 2025. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 3 at the First Baptist Church of Hugo.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
