The name Morning Glory was never just about a flower.

Morning glories open with the sunrise — a reminder that each new day begins with hope and mercy.
“His mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:23

For thousands of years, God has watched over the work of midwives. In Exodus, the Hebrew midwives honored life, and Scripture tells us God blessed them for it.

Every birth we attend reminds us of that same calling.

To protect life.
To support women in their strength.
To welcome new beginnings.

At Morning Glory Birth & Wellness, we believe birth is sacred work — and every baby, every mother, and every moment is an opportunity to give God the glory.

✨Construction is moving forward at Morning Glory Birth Center, and it’s incredible to watch the progress taking shape. The walls are in progress, and with every step we’re reminded how faithful God has been through this journey.

What started as a vision and many prayers is becoming a place where families will welcome their babies in peace, support, and love.

We are so grateful for the hands building it, the community supporting it, and the Lord guiding every step. 🤍✨

Morning Glory Birth & Wellness coming soon!
A birth center and wellness clinic to open this spring. We will be offering comprehensive women’s health care, functional and integrative medicine, home and birth center birth for low risk pregnancies. We cannot wait to offer the midwife model of care to our community!

A birth and wellness center for Northwest Iowa! This has been a just a dream for so many years! Good things come to those who wait!

What is a birth center?
A birth center is a welcoming, home-like space designed for healthy, low-risk pregnancies—where birth is honored as a natural, physiologic process, not a medical emergency.

Unlike a hospital, birth centers offer unhurried care, continuity with your midwife, and freedom to move, eat, labor, and birth in ways that feel right for your body—with medical equipment available when needed, not as the focus.

Birth centers provide the safety of evidence-based care with the comfort, autonomy, and personal support families deserve—bridging the gap between home birth and hospital birth.

Morning Glory Birth and Wellness will be Northwest Iowa’s first and only freestanding birth center coming Spring 2026.

🥳 Happy New Year!! 🥳
Just want to pop in and introduce myself! I am Kari Ney, Certified Nurse Midwife. I have had the honor and privilege to serve women providing midwifery care and comprehensive woman’s health through Promise Community Health Center for the last 6 1/2 years. I also have been attending births at Sioux Center Health for the last two years, this has been such a wonderful collaboration for our community.

Born and raised in Hull, I am so excited to expand the midwifery model of care to our community. I became a midwife to walk alongside women through all stages of womanhood, to offer an approach to healthcare that comes from a place of normal and natural, a divinely inspired process. Guiding and empowering women through the changes of life is an incredible honor and my practice approaches concerns from a woman centered, root based, preventative perspective. As this journey continues, I want to encourage anyone who has questions about the Birth Center model or who can seek care at Morning Glory to send a private message or email at:

Our current goal is to take on new patient due dates at the birth center in June 2026! Homebirth spots will be very limited through October.
