Today, we want to recognize one of our incredible Pre-ETS trainers, Nicole Pittman đź‘Ź

Nicole, who leads Bloom sessions at Southampton High School in Virginia, consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She hasn’t just stepped into the classroom—she’s become a meaningful part of the school community. From building strong relationships with students and staff to showing up beyond scheduled sessions, Nicole leads with heart, intention, and purpose.

One of the many ways she demonstrates this is by taking time outside of her regular schedule to show up for her students—like attending basketball games to cheer them on. That kind of support creates confidence, belonging, and connection that lasts far beyond the classroom.

Nicole is widely known as a joy to both students and staff, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. She is a true example of what it means to walk alongside the individuals we support and invest in their growth.

We are proud to announce that Jamie Moyer has been selected to present at the AAIDD Texas Chapter Annual Convention 2026!

Jamie’s presentation, “From Research to Revolution: Co-Creating the Future of Disability-Inclusive Workplaces,” will highlight his doctoral research exploring how leadership practices shape inclusive workplace cultures, influence retention, and redefine what meaningful employment looks like for individuals with disabilities.

This session invites employers, educators, and advocates to move beyond compliance-based approaches and toward intentional, leadership-driven inclusion that creates lasting impact.

This year’s convention, themed “50 Years of Inclusion: Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Future,” will take place August 18–21, 2026, at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel.

We’re incredibly proud to see this work recognized and can’t wait to continue advancing the conversation around equity, dignity, and opportunity in the workplace. 👏💙
