Bloom Community Services

Bloom Community Services Empowering individuals with disabilities through compassionate care, innovative programs, and collaborative partnerships.

We strive for a world where everyone leads self-directed lives, with their voices heard and choices respected.

As part of our Belonging Beside Us campaign, we’re highlighting how communities grow stronger when everyone belongs.

When individuals with disabilities are included in community life, we all benefit.

Inclusion builds understanding.
It builds empathy.
And it builds stronger communities.

Way to go Roni Jo Frazier!

Way to go Roni Jo Frazier!

Join us in congratulating Roni Jo Frazier as Ambassador of the Month! Roni Jo is CEO of Bloom Consulting services.

"I love being an Ambassador because it allows me to connect with others while helping bring awareness to the importance of inclusion for people with disabilities. Advocacy and community matter deeply to me, and I believe every person deserves to be valued for their abilities and given opportunities to succeed. Serving in this role gives me a chance to promote understanding, encourage connection, and help make our community stronger for everyone. "

Real inclusion happens in everyday moments.

Grabbing lunch.
Attending events.
Celebrating milestones.
Spending time with friends.

Through programs like MissionLIFE, Bloom helps individuals with disabilities experience these moments right alongside their peers.

Because belonging happens beside us, not apart from us.

This month’s Belonging Beside Us campaign highlights the importance of dignity and community inclusion.

Needing support does not make someone less deserving of community.

Support is simply how we ensure everyone has the opportunity to belong.

🚗 Progress Worth Celebrating — But We Still Need Your Help! 💙🧡

Our Driven by Purpose: Keeping Our Community Moving Forward campaign was launched with one simple goal — making sure the individuals we support have reliable transportation to fully participate in their communities.

While we still have a long way to go before reaching our full fundraising goal, we are incredibly excited to share that thanks to your support, we were able to make our very first small vehicle purchase! 🎉

In the spirit of giving back to the community that gives so much to us, we decided to shop locally along Northpark in support of the and initiatives — efforts championed by our friends at Partnership Lake Houston and Greater EMC Chamber.

We were thrilled to connect with the wonderful team at Millennium Motors, a family-owned dealership right on Northpark, who helped us get into a great little Hyundai Veracruz with a third-row option — which will make a huge difference for transporting the individuals we serve safely and comfortably throughout the community.

Supporting a family-owned Northpark business felt like the perfect way to give back to the same community that continuously shows up for Bloom. 💙

This vehicle is just the first step, and we still need our community’s help to reach the finish line so we can continue expanding transportation options for the people we serve.

Throughout this month, I’ll also be sharing more ways Bloom works to give back to the community that supports us — because when communities show up for each other, incredible things happen.

Our Belonging Beside Us campaign is centered on a simple truth:

A person’s humanity is not determined by their diagnosis.

Some people communicate verbally.
Some communicate nonverbally.
Some people need physical support.
Some need assistance with daily tasks.

None of that changes their right to belong.

Let’s talk about disability and dignity for a moment.A person’s humanity is not determined by their diagnosis. It is not ...

Let’s talk about disability and dignity for a moment.

A person’s humanity is not determined by their diagnosis.

It is not determined by whether they communicate verbally or nonverbally.
It is not determined by whether they walk independently or need support.
It is not determined by whether they need help with daily living tasks.

Needing support does not make someone less human.

And it certainly does not mean they should be separated from the community.

People with disabilities do not belong in the background of society.

They belong beside us.

At the same tables.
In the same workplaces.
In the same parks, restaurants, classrooms, and celebrations.

Because dignity isn’t something a person earns by being “independent enough.”

Dignity is something every human being already has.

And when communities truly believe that, people with disabilities are no longer seen as different.

They are seen for what they’ve always been:

Our neighbors.
Our coworkers.
Our friends.

This month, Bloom Community Services is proud to share our Belonging Beside Us campaign — because individuals with disabilities don’t belong on the sidelines of community life.

They belong beside us. Always.

And today is a great day to put that belief into action.

Join us for Crust for a Cause at Crust Pizza Co. on the 13th and grab lunch with us around noon! Many of our participants will be there enjoying their lunch out in the community — exactly where they belong.

A portion of the proceeds from your meal will support Bloom’s programs and help fund transportation so our participants can continue getting out into the community for volunteer projects, skill-building activities, and meaningful experiences.

Come eat with us.
Come meet our community.
Come support belonging.

Because inclusion doesn’t just happen in conversations.

It happens when we show up.

As part of our Belonging Beside Us campaign this month, we’re sharing an important reminder:

People with disabilities belong in the community.

Not in separate spaces.
Not on the sidelines.

Beside us.

Programs like MissionLIFE help individuals engage in the community, build relationships, and experience everyday life alongside their peers.

Because belonging should never be optional.
