It’s the most wonderful time of the year - it’s busy too! Yesterday we celebrated our residents and families with our annual holiday buffet lunch.

Our “12 Days of Christmas Spirit” theme for the day was pink Christmas. It was great seeing all of the residents and staff dressed in pink.

We wrapped up the day with Brittany’s monthly happy hour - the signature cocktail was a cosmo!

Thank you, Greentree Elementary Choir for your joyful performance this morning. You had us clapping, singing and dancing along. What a talented group of young students. Not only did we LOVE your performance, our residents enjoyed visiting with the students and the gifts they gave them. This was a perfect start to our day!

We had a very special visitor at this morning’s Veterans breakfast. Thank you, St. Michaels Warriors for bringing Santa to breakfast! This is one of our favorite monthly events. If you’re a Veteran and would like to attend our next Veterans breakfast, we would love to have you as our guest!

Beautiful music from the Creekwood Middle School Orchestra filled our dining room this morning. We are so grateful for this incredible holiday performance for our residents and staff! 🎶 Thank you CMS Orchestra.

We were honored to be a host site for Kingwood Park High School’s “Day of Service”. Students spent several hours in our community volunteering their time to help us with projects, spend time with our residents and even hosted some activities!

We can’t thank them enough for the work they put in and the smiles they brought to our residents’ faces!

Today, we pause to honor the incredible bravery and sacrifice of our residents who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. 🇺🇸

Our community was filled with pride as we hosted a special Veterans Day celebration, recognizing the servicemen and women who call The Terraces home. We enjoyed a breakfast with special guests, witnessed a heartfelt tribute from Quilts of Valor honoring one of our veterans, Sam with a beautiful patriotic quilt and enjoyed music from the Kingwood Park High School band.

To all veterans, both here with us and across the nation: your legacy of freedom lives on in the care and camaraderie you bring to our community every day. Thank you for your service.

We’ve had such a fantastic week celebrating Halloween and the season! Yesterday we welcomed trick-or-treaters into our community - we loved seeing all the kids dressed in their costumes! Today we had a Halloween party with spooky treats, live music and a costume contest.
