❄️ Weather Update – Telehealth for Monday ❄️
Due to the expected snow amounts and unsafe travel conditions, all scheduled appointments will move to telehealth tomorrow.

Our team will be calling all families later today (Sunday) with specific details. Families can connect with their therapist through the patient portal or via email.

❄️ Weather Update & Telehealth Planning ❄️

With the impending weather, our therapists are preparing to transition all Monday appointments to telehealth if snow conditions require it.

This is a great opportunity for therapists to see your child in their natural environment and to answer any questions you may have about implementing strategies at home.

👉 Our plan:�We will call families on Monday to confirm the transition to telehealth if the snow hits.

• If you need your telehealth link sent to an email other than the one listed in your portal, please reach out directly to your therapist via the portal or email.
• You may also work with your therapist to adjust your scheduled time earlier or later in the day, if needed.

🎶 Using Songs to Support Speech & Language Development 🎶

We recently saw a great shared list of common children’s songs that can do so much more than entertain! Music is a powerful tool in speech and language development when used intentionally.

These songs can help:�✨ Encourage participation and turn-taking�✨ Increase vocalizations and sound imitation�✨ Support sound practice (early sounds, consonants, vowels)�✨ Expand sentence length and expressive language�✨ Build vocabulary, sequencing, and social interaction

The beauty of songs is that they can be adapted based on your child’s individual needs—whether that’s adding gestures, pausing to let them fill in words, repeating key sounds, or modeling longer phrases.

Tip for parents: Don’t worry about singing perfectly! Repetition, enthusiasm, and interaction matter far more than how it sounds. 🎵
