It’s humbling to have my own realizations in therapy and I welcome each and every one of them. Like many of you, I place a ton of pressure on myself to perform, be perfect, and excellent. However, I realized that I don’t need to be that way all the time. I just need moments of being brave to make change happen. That’s it, just a moment…and all the pressure fades away. I hope this reminder also helps you take some pressure off of yourself and allows you to have small moments of bravery 😌

I’ll be honest, it irks my spirit when people say “the gym is therapy.” Movement is powerful for our mental health, but it’s not the full picture. Lifting weights won’t help you process grief. Cardio won’t untangle family trauma. And yet, so many people skip the importance of talk therapy.

In this clip, Tim shares his perspective that everyone can benefit from therapy, and I couldn’t agree more. 🧠💪 The gym can strengthen the body, but therapy strengthens the mind and spirit. Both matter!

Former pro soccer player Tim Wittman shares what happens when burnout takes the wheel…pushing his body to the point of complete shutdown 😟. His story is a powerful reminder that even the strongest among us need rest, recovery, and balance

(And yes… don’t mind the “artsy” camera framing 🤳 I like to keep it real over here 😉)

Confession 🤐: I talk a lot about slowing down, being present, and making space for yourself… but running my own business can sometimes take over my whole life.

Last weekend, I got to watch the sunrise, have quality girl time, frolic on the beach looking cute while snapping sunset pics, and end the night with pizza and tarot readings. I smiled, giggled, even saw a baby stingray, and laughed until my belly hurt! It felt so good to come back to myself, to remember that therapists are human first, helpers second. We can’t pour into others if we aren’t taking care of ourselves.

I hope I keep getting better at practicing what I preach because the more I show up for myself, the more fully I can show up for the people who trust me with their care. 🌊✨

Depression can feel heavy, but the ocean reminds us how to move through it. 🌊 Feel your emotions and let them flow like tides. 🌅 Pause, find stillness, and remember calm always returns. ✨ Reconnect with your senses—touch the sand, listen to the waves, breathe deeply. These simple moments are anchors for your mind and spirit, helping you show up for yourself every day.
