Calling all female golfers....Let's celebrate Women's Golf Month. To prevent injuries when you’re playing golf, you will need to improve your range of motion by working on your flexibility. This also helps with the rotational stresses that are placed on the spine and the muscles when you swing your golf club. Also, before you tee off, warm up properly and wear golf shoes with short cleats. This will help to reduce strain on the knees and ankles, and it will help improve lower back pain. It's World Bicycle Day! We enjoy incorporating bikes into our custom therapy sessions. We’re thrilled to have Tim Caprio, PT, DPT, a certified bike 🚴🏻 fitter on our team. It’s never normal to have pain while biking. Simple adjustments to the bike 🚲 can create a more conveyable and enjoyable ride. Schedule a bike fit to ride with minimal discomfort.

Tim’s three tips:
1. Seat should be angled a couple of degrees down
2. Brake levers should be moved to allow a neutral wrist position
3. Shoulders should be 80-90 degrees when holding onto the handlebars
