We spend so much of our lives at work that it can start to feel like a second home… but that doesn’t always mean it feels safe, supportive, or comfortable.

Workplaces bring together people with different personalities, communication styles, and perspectives, so conflict and tension can arise.

Some common workplace challenges include:

💙 Poor job fit

💙 Ongoing stress or mental anguish

💙 Sexual, verbal, or emotional harassment

💙 Discrimination

💙 Low motivation and job dissatisfaction

Therapy can help you better understand what you need from your work, set healthier boundaries, and find new ways to cope with tension or difficult dynamics on the job.

If you’ve been affected by workplace issues, or if your career just isn’t bringing you the same sense of joy it used to, feel free to schedule an appointment to talk with a mental health professional.

Big life changes can feel like a lot.

If you’re overwhelmed, try this: don’t fight the emotion, let it move through you.

Instead of pushing feelings down, give them a few moments of space. When we actually feel what’s there and name it, it often softens faster. Not instantly, but usually sooner than you expect.

Find a place you feel safe. Take a few slow breaths. If it helps, close your eyes. Let your mind get as quiet as it can, and simply notice what you’re feeling without judging it or trying to fix it.

Often, the intensity will ease within a few minutes. That doesn’t mean the feeling disappears forever; it just means you’ve processed one layer and taken a real step forward. 💙

Unsure if it’s time? Consider reaching out when you notice repeating arguments that never get resolved, emotional distance or fading intimacy, difficulty making joint decisions. Early support helps you learn new communication tools, break unhelpful patterns, and address practical issues (parenting, finances, transitions) before they cause deeper harm. If you’re worried or feeling stuck, contact 980-689-1794 to talk about options and next steps. 🕰️❤️

There’s a common stigma that couples therapy is only for relationships that are “in trouble.” And while some couples do come in because they’re struggling, there are lots of other reasons partners choose to start therapy together.

For example, an engaged couple might use premarital counseling to talk through expectations and strengthen their foundation before marriage. A couple that’s been together for 25 years might come in to reconnect, bring back some spark, or find new ways to enjoy each other in this season of life.

Couples therapy can help you work through a current challenge, prevent small issues from growing, or simply serve as a relationship “check-up”—especially during times of transition, stress, or change.

Some common topics couples explore in therapy include money, parenting, intimacy, infidelity, in-laws, chronic health concerns, infertility, gambling, substance use, emotional distance, and frequent conflict.

If you’re curious about couples therapy, we’d love to support you. You can schedule an appointment through the link in our bio. 💙
