On January 3, 2026, a family welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world — and it was a delivery that marked a very special milestone. ✨

Her midwife, Amanda Younger, didn’t just bring years of experience to the delivery room — this was her 1,000th baby delivered. 👶

Amanda has served families in the greater Charlotte community for more than a decade. Known for her dedication and heart for her patients, she has always carefully tracked each birth she’s been part of. On 1/3/26, she reached an incredible career milestone when she caught her 1,000th baby.
She also delivered her brother at delivery #873
A moment worth celebrating for both a wonderful family and a remarkable midwife. 💛

👶 And here’s something truly special: two of our physicians at our practice are personally touched by prematurity — their own babies, triplets, were born preterm and required a NICU stay. Their firsthand experience fuels our passion to support and care for families navigating this journey.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Breast cancer has touched our office in a very real way — two of our own providers are proud breast cancer survivors. Their strength and resilience inspire us daily and remind us why awareness and early detection matter so much. 💗

Here are a few important facts to know:

✨ 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
✨ Early detection saves lives — monthly self-breast checks and regular mammograms are essential.
✨ Having a family history increases risk, but most women diagnosed have no family history.
✨ Thanks to ongoing research and improved treatments, survival rates continue to rise.

This month, we honor survivors, support those currently fighting, and remember those we have lost. Together, we are stronger. 💕

Today we’re spotlighting one of our amazing physicians who wears many hats — from being a proud Mother of Triplets (aka Mother of Dragons 🐉) to a trailblazer in women’s health. 💪

She was one of the first in the Charlotte market to offer Acessa for Novant, and continues to lead as an educator and advocate for women’s health. 👩‍⚕️💜

When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll find her designing our future practice spaces 🏥 or spending time with her sweet pup Bindi 🐶.

🌸 MIDWIFE MONDAY SPOTLIGHT 🌸

Meet one of our incredible midwives who’s been with our practice since the very beginning! 💜

She became an RN in 2004 at UNC Charlotte, joined Novant in 2007, and earned her Certified Nurse Midwife credentials from ECU (Go Pirates! 🏴‍☠️) in 2010. Since then, she has caught over 900 babies and empowered countless women along the way.

Her passion runs deep—she’s truly devoted to ensuring women feel heard, respected, and empowered during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. ✨

When she’s not supporting birthing families, you can find her soaking up quality time with her 13-year-old fur-baby Jackson, her significant other, and her friends and family. 🐾❤️

Meet one of our incredible Nurse Practitioners who’s been rocking her role for 13 years and still brings the same passion every day! 🎉

When she’s not removing Nexplanons with superhero precision 💪 (seriously—it’s her superpower), she’s busy doing what she loves most: educating and empowering women to take charge of their health. 💬💗

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her whipping up the cutest (and tastiest!) cookies you’ve ever seen 🍪 or knee-deep in her next craft project—glitter, glue guns, and all!

She’s a pro with a purpose, a cookie queen, and a woman’s health warrior. 💥
