I was at Silver Lake for 10 years and after the explosion I came here to Huntingdon Valley Skilled Nursing. It has been a breath of fresh air! People here are lovely and very friendly, it's a very positive environment. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful place for long term care or rehabilitation. I feel like this place has giving me back my life and I am very lucky to be here.

🌟 Meet Margaret “Peg” Kidd — Our Incredible Staffing Coordinator 🌟

Thirty years ago, Peg first learned about Huntingdon Valley Skilled Nursing through her family. In fact, many of her extended family worked here — her mother‑in‑law was the receptionist, and her sister‑in‑law served as the staffing coordinator, and her 2 brothers-in-law were nurses!

For the past 15 years, Peg has been our Staffing Coordinator , a role that can be challenging, but one she handles with grace. Her secret? She’s built genuine friendships with the team, treats everyone with fairness, and has earned the trust of the entire building.

💬 Peg’s Advice:

“To be successful, you have to be kind to the people you work with because they want to help.”

🎉 Fun Facts About Peg:

Shore-loving spirit: She absolutely loves spending time “down the shore”.

❤️ Huntingdon Valley is Seeing Red for a Great Cause! We kicked off Blood Donor Awareness Month in style by showing up in our boldest, brightest reds. From scrubs to sweaters, HV staff turned the building into a sea of support for lifesaving blood donation.

🧠✨ And because it’s also National Trivia Day, we put our knowledge to the test! Team members battled it out with fun facts about blood donation and some surprise games.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, showed their spirit, and helped us celebrate two meaningful moments in one day. HV knows how to make learning lively and awareness unforgettable.
