In a recent blog post titled: "What is Filler Burnout?" we discuss the desire many clients have for more longer lasting, rejuvenated results. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers, done correctly, provide predictable and natural-appearing results which, unfortunately, are temporary.

Catchy names for procedures, especially Plastic Surgery procedures, are great for views and creating interest, but it is important to know if it's right for you. The "Deep Plane Facelift" is one such example, and in a recent blog Dr. DiBello provides his professional opinion on this procedure for clarity. Facelifts come in different flavors, and while the deep plane lift is a reliable, long-lasting procedure, not everyone requires it or is a candidate. While leaks and ruptures are visibly detectible with saline-filled implants, silicone gel-filled implant failures are usually "silent" and therefore regular imaging is advised by the FDA to detect leaks/ruptures.
