A Bittersweet Farewell at Huntingdon Health and Rehab 💙

This past Monday was a bittersweet day as we celebrated Ashlee Weathers on her last day at HHR. Ashlee dedicated 18 years of labor, love, and compassion, excelling in many roles including RN, Infection Control Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Her presence will be deeply missed by staff, residents, and their families, as she touched countless hearts throughout her time with us. We send our love and wish Ashlee the very best in all of her future endeavors! 💐

Last week, we wrapped up February with a bang! 🎉

In honor of Black History Month, HHR hosted its 3rd Annual Taste of Soul. Residents and staff enjoyed delicious BBQ ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, potato salad, and banana pudding. 🍗🥗🍌

The event was also a meaningful opportunity for staff to learn about some of the most influential figures in history, their struggles, and the contributions that paved the way for the society we live in today. ✨

Another fun-filled day at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation! 💙

We are incredibly blessed to be part of a community that shows up for our residents in such meaningful ways.

This morning, Tammy Blankenship and the Southern Grace Band shared wonderful music with our Memory Care unit. Ms. Kathy Weirs brought smiles and friendly competition while hosting Morning Bingo, and Ms. Marilyn Moore-Pate led an uplifting Bible study.

This afternoon, our residents got creative making pinecone bird feeders to hang outside their windows. We can’t wait to see how many different birds come to visit! 🐦✨

Days like today remind us how special our Huntingdon family truly is.
