*Nutrition Consulting:There's a fundamental law of human nutrition that goes like this: if a food is in your possession or located in your residence, you will eventually eat it. Whether you plan to or not, whether you want to or not, you'll eventually eat it! Therefore, if you wish to be healthy and lean, you must remove all foods that aren't part of your healthy eating program and replace them with a variety of better, healthier choice. Get the guidance you need to help increase your grocery store and kitchen comfort levels, as well as develop strategies for efficient meal preparation.

🎄Walk-out pushups - 5-10 (sub for regular pushups)
🎄Bulgarian lunges - 5-10/leg (sub for squats) 🎄Burpees - 5-10 (sub for plank hold)
🎄Surrenders - 5-10/leg (sub for reverse lunges)
🎄 V- ups - 5-10 (right leg, left leg, both legs = 1 rep)
Do each exercise back to back with little to no rest - rest 3 minutes after each round. Do 3-4 rounds

Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken 🧡 I love this recipe. Its easy to make and so good! My kids love it too😋

Ingredients:
4 chicken thighs - can use breasts too
salt + pepper
1 tbsp cooking oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 chopped parsley

HONEY GARLIC SAUCE:
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp sugar, or brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp chicken broth
1 dash cayenne pepper

Directions:
⭐︎Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
⭐︎Mix honey garlic sauce ingredients until smooth.
⭐︎Sauté chicken in Instant Pot with oil until browned on both sides.
⭐︎Add garlic, pour in sauce, cover, and pressure cook on High for 10 minutes.
⭐︎Quick release, garnish with parsley, and serve.
⭐︎Serve with rice and steamed broccoli.

Hamburger Vegetable Stew
1-3 lbs ground beef
1 yellow onion 🧅
1 green bell pepper 🫑 (can sub for yellow or orange)
6 minced garlic cloves
1 large sweet potato or a few regular potatoes 🥔
2-3 sliced carrots 🥕
2-3 sliced ribs of celery
2 14-oz fire-roasted tomatoes
1 Qt. Beef broth
1.5 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz fresh or frozen green beans
1 can of corn (optional)

Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic, then drain.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and let them simmer.
3. If you prefer stew to be thinner, add more broth.
4. If using frozen green beans, add them 30 minutes before eating.

🥣 Top it with cheese, crushed crackers, or chips. You can also mix in a scoop of Greek yogurt or sour cream.

Our Story

Discovering her passion for fitness and nutrition, Aftann focused her studies on health and nutrition at Huron University. She continued to extend her learning to became an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer in 2005, a Certified Spinning Instructor in 2006, and an ISSA Certified Nutrition Specialist in 2011.

My goal since then has been to share my knowledge and experience with people of all ages about the importance of pursuing a healthy lifestyle. I am very committed to providing dynamic, individually designed programs, for people of all ages whose skills range from novice to athlete. My fitness philosophy is that there will never be a finish line in fitness.

I believe a good personal trainer delivers safe, effective and fun workouts to all training clients. My training programs are varied, progressive, and geared toward improving your health and wellness.

I put effort into healthy eating, physical activity and stress management. I want to inspire people. I want someone to look at me and say, “because of you I didn’t give up.”
