The shift in seasons always invites us to slow down and notice.

The flowers begin to bloom, the sun lingers a little longer, and there’s a quiet reminder that growth is happening—often in ways we can’t immediately see.

This time of year is an invitation to care for yourself in the same way. To pause. To reflect. To ask: How have I grown? What am I ready to let go of? What do I want to carry into this next season?

In therapy, we intentionally create space for this. A space to acknowledge progress (even the small, quiet kind), to make meaning of where you’ve been, and to set intentions for where you’re going.

Growth doesn’t have to be rushed. It just has to be nurtured.

If you’re feeling the pull to reflect, reset, or move forward with more clarity—we’re here to support you.

Weekends aren’t just for catching up on errands. Weekends provide an opportunity to reconnect with your needs, your children and your family.

In the middle of busy schedules, school stress, work demands, and everything in between, it’s easy for families to slip into “get through the day” mode. But even small moments of connection can make a big difference.

This weekend, try one simple shift:
👉 Be fully present for just 10–15 minutes with your child, partner, or family—no phones, no distractions.

It might look like:
• Playing a quick game
• Going for a walk
• Sitting and talking about the week
• Laughing over something silly

These moments build trust, safety, and connection over time.

At Glacier Psychology Services, we believe strong relationships are the foundation of mental health, for kids, teens, and adults alike.

If your family has been feeling disconnected or stuck in stressful patterns, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Ever notice how one small moment turns into “you ALWAYS…” or “you NEVER…”?

That’s not your child being dramatic—it’s their brain making connections.

When we feel a strong emotion, the brain quickly links it to past experiences where we felt the same way. So what looks like an overreaction is often a buildup of stored feelings all coming forward at once.

For kids (and honestly, adults too), this can make it hard to stay grounded in what’s happening right now.

This is where we can step in and help them slow it down:
→ “What is the one thing you’re upset about right now?”
→ “Is this about this moment, or does it feel bigger than that?”
→ “Is this the right time to talk about everything, or just this piece?”

We’re not dismissing their feelings—we’re helping them organize them.

Over time, this builds emotional awareness, regulation, and stronger communication skills.

At Glacier, we help families understand how the brain and emotions work together—so parents can respond with clarity, not confusion.

💬 If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Reach out to learn how we support kids, teens, and families.

College isn’t just stressful—it can feel overwhelming, isolating, and hard to navigate alone.

Between academic pressure, anxiety, changing relationships, and figuring out who you are, it’s a lot to carry. And for many college and graduate students, that stress can quickly turn into burnout, depression, or feeling completely stuck.

At Glacier Psychology Services, we specialize in helping college-aged students navigate:
✔️ Anxiety & depression
✔️ Academic stress & burnout
✔️ ADHD & focus challenges
✔️ Relationship & identity concerns
✔️ Trauma & past experiences

We offer virtual therapy (including EMDR) so you can get support wherever you are—on campus, at home, or anywhere in between.

You don’t have to push through this alone. Support can make this season feel more manageable—and even meaningful.

When one member of the family is struggling, the entire family feels it.

At Glacier Psychology Services, we take a family-systems approach because we understand that no one exists in isolation. A child’s anxiety, a teen’s behavior, or a parent’s stress doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s connected to the relationships, patterns, and dynamics within the family.

That means we don’t just focus on “fixing” one person.
We focus on supporting the whole family.

In our work together, we help families:
✨ Understand how each member’s experiences impact one another
✨ Improve communication and reduce conflict
✨ Break unhelpful patterns that keep everyone stuck
✨ Build stronger, more supportive relationships at home

Because when one person heals, it creates a ripple effect, but when the whole family grows together, that’s where real, lasting change happens.

If your family has been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in the same cycles, we’re here to help.

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationships.

At Glacier Psychology Services, we take a family-systems approach, which means we don’t just look at one person in a vacuum. We look at the whole system—the patterns, communication styles, roles, and relationships that shape each family member’s experience.

Because often, what looks like a “problem behavior” in a child is actually a signal of something bigger happening within the family dynamic.

When we work together, we focus on:
✨ Strengthening connection between family members
✨ Improving communication and reducing conflict
✨ Helping parents feel more confident and supported
✨ Teaching kids and teens how to understand and regulate their emotions

We believe families don’t need to be perfect—they need to feel connected, understood, and supported.

If your family has been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, therapy can help you move forward—together.

A small shift that can change your entire day as a parent:

👉 Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with you?”
Try asking, “What’s going on for you right now?”

When kids are overwhelmed, anxious, or acting out, their behavior is often a signal—not a problem to shut down. Behind the attitude, defiance, or shutdown is usually a feeling they don’t yet know how to manage.

At Glacier Psychology Services, we help children, teens, and families learn how to:
✔️ Understand emotions instead of reacting to them
✔️ Improve communication at home
✔️ Build coping skills for anxiety, stress, and big feelings
✔️ Strengthen the parent-child relationship

You don’t have to have all the answers, just a willingness to stay curious and connected.

If your child is struggling with anxiety, behavior challenges, or emotional regulation, we’re here to help.

Healing doesn’t always happen through words…sometimes it happens through paint, glue, glitter, and imagination. 🎨

At Glacier Psychology Services, we believe therapy with children should feel safe, creative, and engaging. When kids have space to express themselves through art, play, and creativity, they often share feelings that are hard to put into words. These moments help us better understand what a child is experiencing and support them in developing healthy coping skills, emotional awareness, and confidence.

Our practice is deeply family-focused, and we specialize in supporting children, teens, parents, and families as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, school stress, and family transitions. Creating a welcoming environment where kids can be kids is an important part of the healing process.

Sometimes the most meaningful breakthroughs happen while making an art project at the therapy table.

If you’re looking for child therapy, family therapy, or parenting support, our team at Glacier Psychology Services is here to help.
