Join us in celebrating our Employee of the Month, Patrick Brown 👏

Patrick is the kind of person every team hopes for—someone who shows up, steps in, and makes life better for everyone around him. Whether he’s supporting our facilities or lending a hand to a teammate, he does it with a humility and grace that never seeks recognition, but always deserves it.

Those who work alongside him describe him as a true team player who improves the lives of everyone he’s involved with—and it shows. If there’s ever a need, Patrick is already there, ready to help without hesitation.

Patrick, thank you for the impact you make each day. We’re grateful to have you on our team! 💙

✨ Staff Spotlight: Ashley Croushorn ✨

Meet Ashley, a valued member of the AHBC team 🧡

Before joining AHBC, Ashley was already working in recovery, supporting individuals with substance use and discovering her passion for this work. She is currently finishing her Bachelor’s in Social Work and wanted to continue growing by gaining experience in a more clinical setting.

Ashley was inspired to join AHBC for the opportunity to help people in recovery while building her clinical skills. She has a heart for helping others—especially those who feel stuck or lack support—and was drawn to being part of a team that meets people where they are and helps them move forward.

The most meaningful part of her work:
💫 Seeing people make progress, even in small ways
💫 Helping connect individuals to resources
💫 Building relationships and being someone participants trust

“Seeing people take steps forward and start doing better reminds me why I do this work.”

We are grateful to have Ashley as part of the AHBC family 🧡

These three coping skills can help you pause, reset, and regain control in the moment.
