Aesthetics is a long game. When we meet a new patient, we listen to their concerns and then dive into their skincare habits, their priorities, their timeline, etc. Oftentimes, we’ll implement our recommendations over the course of several months to several years! One of the things we always tell patients is that filler is buildable - slow and steady is the way to go when you’re looking to achieve certain aesthetic goals.

Lips do have a capacity, and that’s why overfilled lips are prone to migration. Sometimes a half syringe is all you need, and sometimes it’s just a great start. And while filler CAN be dissolved, it’s much easier to add more later.
