We had a scary good time filling up the atrium of Cabell Huntington Hospital for the Hoops Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital annual trick-or-treat. πŸ‘» Hosted for our pediatric patients, children of patients at Cabell Huntington Hospital and children of our staff, this event is a great opportunity for departments at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Marshall Health and Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine to trade their scrubs for costumes and come together to create a little magic together.

We hope everyone who attended today has full bellies and full spirits. 🍫 πŸŽƒ

Yesterday evening, the Cabell Huntington Hospital Maternity Center Perinatal Bereavement Support Group honored Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month with a special ceremony remembering those we have lost. It was an evening filled with song and poetry, and we read the names of the infants we remember daily.

If you or your family has experienced pregnancy or infant loss, you do not have to endure your grief alone. The Perinatal Bereavement Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. virtually through Microsoft Teams.
