Here are 5 quick tips to keep your heart strong:
1️⃣ Eat colorful fruits and vegetables every day.
2️⃣ Get at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly.
3️⃣ Manage stress with deep breathing or meditation.
4️⃣ Know your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers.
5️⃣ Quit smoking or vaping—your heart will thank you.

❤️ Men often experience chest pain, shortness of breath, and pain in the arm or jaw.
💗 Women may feel nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath, or pain in the back or jaw.

If something feels off, call 911 immediately. Quick action saves lives.

The Pharmacy team wore red today in honor of women and National Go Red Day. ❤️

Heart attack symptoms in women can be subtle and are often overlooked. They may include:
• Shortness of breath
• Nausea or vomiting
• Pain in the jaw, neck, or back
• Extreme fatigue
• Chest discomfort

Knowing the signs can save a life. If you or someone you love are experiencing these symptoms, call 911 right away.

• Marshall Surgery
• Marshall Urology
• Marshall Neurology
• Marshall Neurosurgery

Update (Feb. 6, 1:05 p.m.):

The following Marshall Health Network clinics and administrative offices will close at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6:

• Marshall Cardiology
• Marshall Pediatrics
• Marshall Dentistry
• Pediatric Nowcare

Update (Feb. 6, 1:05 p.m.):

• Marshall Orthopaedics
There will be no afternoon walk-in hours at the Marshall Sports Medicine Institute or the Teays Valley location today.
The main campus, Marshall Sports Medicine Institute and Marshall Podiatry will close at 1 p.m. The Teays Valley location will close at 2 p.m.

Update (Feb. 1:45, p.m.):

The following Marshall Health Network clinics and administrative offices will close at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6:

• Marshall Eye Surgeons
• Marshall Family Medicine
In addition, the Marshall Family Medicine Saturday walk-in clinic will be closed on Saturday, Feb 7.

Patients with scheduled appointments at these locations should receive a call to reschedule. If you do not hear from your provider, please contact the office directly.

Tele-NOW Care remains available for minor illnesses and injuries at 304.781.TELE, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

Closures and hours may continue to change as conditions evolve. Updates will be shared as they become available.
