Here you see Morgan target the supraspinatus, infraspinatus and rhomboids. The first two muscles make up the rotator cuff and the third muscle supports the rotator cuff by engaging in movements of the shoulder blade as it moves closer to the spine.

This patient felt a sensation when a needle was inserted to her rhomboids(between spine and shoulder blade.) The feeling was a dull ache that extended under the shoulder blade.

If you work at a desk and have neck, shoulder and back pain because of this please give us a call and book an appointment soon!

This patient began experiencing dizziness, nausea and migraine like pain in his temples. After no reprieve an Ortho diagnosed him with tension related migraines and recommended PT & acupuncture. Working on his neck we found that if I applied pressure to his suboccipitals we could induce dizziness and pain that went down to his upper and mid back. The acupuncture treatment was relaxing and he got off the table feeling good. I told him it’s likely his ortho is correct and that PT with acupuncture will relax the muscles, help the blood flow and reduce the dizziness and nausea.

I can’t wait for our next session to see how much better he feels. ~Morgan Sears Acupuncturist
