Grief doesn’t follow a straight path, and healing rarely looks the way we expect it to.
Some days you may feel strong, and other days the weight of loss feels just as heavy as it did in the beginning. Both can exist together. You can be hurting and still be healing. You can feel loss and still be moving forward.
Healing isn’t about having it all together, it’s about continuing to take small steps, even when your heart feels incomplete. It’s about allowing yourself to feel, to remember, and to carry both the pain and the love at the same time.
If you’re in a season where you feel both broken and healing, know that you’re not behind or doing it wrong. You’re simply human, navigating love, loss, and the journey in between.
