Functional Precision Medicine is revolutionizing cancer treatment, proving to be a life-saving approach for patients. The response to this novel functional diagnostic was overwhelming. Notably, this marks the inaugural presentation of ChemoID, a clinically validated functional precision medicine assay, and of a concept at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). The session drew significant attention, necessitating an overflow room with projectors to accommodate the large gathering of investigators. Over 1,500 people attending the session and talk between the two rooms. Chairing this session at the 2026 AACR meeting in San Diego was a true privilege.
