📣 Now Accepting Applications – ADC/AADC Supervision Cohort

PsychShift,LLC is now accepting applications for a supervision cohort designed to fulfill the supervision requirements for the WVCBAPP ADC/AADC credential.

📘 Before applying, all interested individuals are strongly encouraged to review the Certification Applications & Manuals to ensure eligibility:

👥 Who Should Apply:
This cohort is open to currently licensed professionals and individuals working as counselors or case managers serving clients with substance use disorders.

Those working in a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) role should speak with their employer before applying, as addiction counseling domains fall outside the standard PRSS scope of practice. PRSS participants may be eligible only if their role is adjusted during supervision to include the four addiction counseling domains required by WVCBAPP/IC&RC.

🗓 Cohort Schedule:
• Runs Feb 8, 2026-May, 24, 2026
• Meets weekly on Sundays, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

✅ All applicants will receive a no-cost pre-screening interview to ensure appropriateness for the supervision process.

November is National Homeless Awareness Month 🕯️

This cause means a lot to me because I’ve personally experienced homelessness. It’s something that changes you — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. You learn how strong you can be, and how much kindness from strangers can truly mean.

Homelessness isn’t always what people imagine. It can happen to anyone — a lost job, health issue, or unexpected life event can turn things upside down fast. What makes a difference is compassion, understanding, and community support.

This month, I’m reminding myself to be grateful for how far I’ve come and to do what I can to help others still struggling. Even small acts — donating, volunteering, or simply showing respect — can make a world of difference.

💙 Let’s spread awareness, empathy, and hope. No one should feel invisible.
