By 2017, Healthy Connections launched Family Navigators and Peer Recovery Support Specialists, helping pregnant and parenting families overcome barriers to care through stigma-free, coordinated support.

In December 2016, Healthy Connections began monthly interagency meetings to break down silos and build better systems of care for pregnant and parenting families affected by substance use disorder. What started as a conversation became a united, collaborative response that continues to this day.

Celebrating 10 Years of Healthy Connections! 🎉

In 2026, we’re marking a decade of working together to support pregnant and parenting families affected by substance use disorder. Our coalition of more than 20 community partners has spent the last ten years improving care, strengthening families, and building a healthier future for our region.

To celebrate, we will be sharing Throwback Thursday ( ) posts throughout the year, highlighting milestones, collaborations, and the impact we've made together.

From access to specialized care to a strong pediatric workforce, we’re showing up for Magnolia and kids like her—and we can’t wait! Thanks to Children's Hospital Association for making possible.
