Congratulations to everyone who ran in the Marshall half-marathon/marathon yesterday!

We are so grateful for the more than 2,100 participants who chose to run the Marshall University Marathon yesterday. Thank you to the 200-plus volunteers, staff, and community members who helped make it all happen.

Was it perfect? No, it never will be. Are we a big city marathon? No, and we don’t want to be. What we are is a great small-town marathon with a community that shows up in full force to support every runner on the course.

Our volunteers, police, and course staff were absolutely incredible, and we can’t thank them enough for their time and energy.

Please share your Medal Monday photos and tag us so we can celebrate with you. Our team will be catching up and tying up loose ends over the next few days. We hope to have race pictures up in that time frame as well.
