The “Mid-Face” Facelift 💗

This sweet patient of ours was a knockout to begin with, but wanted to refine and enhance some of her facial features.

We used a small chin implant to improve her facial balance and enhance her jawline definition, as well as rasped the bridge of her nose to eliminate the small hump and giving her a straighter, more feminine look. This was done comfortably using local anesthesia in our OR, as our patient listened to some of her favorite tunes.

We have reached our final installment of “What to Expect in Facelift Recovery”….and week 4 is ALL about enjoying and getting reacquainted with the new.y refreshed , younger looking “you” from years before 💕

At the one month mark, you should be back to doing all of your normal activities. It can take up to one year for the very minor residual bruising, swelling and tingling that might still persist to completely subside, but this is normal.

Week 3 for the majority of facelift patients is when they turn a huge corner in the healing process.

Mentally, emotionally and physically, this time period is when our facelift patients get excited about their surgery results and are ready to jump back into their normal lives. You may still have some moderate residual swelling and/or tightness, but for the most part patients are looking and feeling so much better ❤️
