This fabulous firecracker patient of ours has often wondered if she could do something about the large distance between her columella and her vermillion border, which she has been unhappy about for awhile
*
As we age, skin does begin to sag and loosen and just as is the case with all areas of the face, the philtrum also sags and stretches too.
*
So, what is the solution to this…?? A lip lift to reduce the surface area. A lip lift is a surgical procedure (can be done alone or in conjunction with other simultaneous surgical procedures) that shortens the philtrum by excising a strip of skin from under the nostrils
*
In the above picture, you can see our patient “before”, the small section of skin we removed and then her only 1 day post op. The change is already remarkable less than 24 hours later having the procedure done 💥

Take a look at those “Baby Blues” finally out of hiding 😍!!
*
This stunning patient wanted the world to see those fabulous blue eyes of hers once again, but without the heavy hooding and under-eye bags that tend to come along with age.
*
To accomplish this remarkable result, I did an upper and lower eye Blepharoplasty. I trimmed the excess skin that was causing heavy hooding from her upper eyelids and then removed fat and excess skin from her lower eyelids.
*
As a result of her undergoing this surgical procedure, my patient looks awake, rejuvenated, years younger and the world can once again see those magnificent peepers of hers 💕
