Families come in all shapes and sizes and we promise to serve each family with love, respect, and with a commitment to see families changed, to in turn see a community changed. Our Family Care Center offers hope and joy to anyone in Northern Indiana with support in our Parenting Classes, Mentorship, Hope 61, a Learn to Earn Program and Partnerships with local agencies for wrap around services.

The Storehouse Mobile Unit is in Urgent Need of Boys size 6-Mens size Large shirts and elastic waisted pants (preferably sweats). We do ask that items for our Storehouse are new with tags.

If you’re able to give, donations can be dropped off during our regular hours. If you’d prefer to give financially, we can also purchase needed items directly.

✨ Program Spotlight: The Storehouse Mobile Unit ✨
Today we’re highlighting our second program—the Storehouse Mobile Unit! This mobile program serves school-aged children by traveling from school to school, giving students the chance to shop for brand-new items at no cost.

By partnering with school counselors, teachers, and community leaders, we’re able to identify real needs and meet them with dignity. In just one day this past fall, we served nearly 100 students with winter coats.

None of this is possible without your generous donations. Because of your support, we’ve outgrown our current space and are now seeking an official Storehouse loading zone to continue expanding our impact.

This week, we’re highlighting different programs offered by the Indiana Family Care Center. First up: Mentorship.

Did you know we offer one-on-one mentoring with a trained mentor? Parenting can be challenging—especially when you’re doing it on your own—and we recognize that families come in many forms, including moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

IFCC mentors are available to support you at any stage of raising children, including pregnancy. All mentoring is based on approved curriculum, ensuring quality and consistency.

Mentees can also earn points to receive essential items such as clothing, diapers, and wipes.

In 2026, we celebrate 15 years of serving Huntington, Indiana and surrounding communities.

Some may remember us as Indiana Dream Center. While our name and approach have grown, our heart has not changed — we remain deeply committed to serving our community.

At IFCC, our mission is to restore hope and awaken dreams through Jesus Christ, one family at a time. We do this by providing Christ-centered support, meeting basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, and emotional and spiritual care, and by breaking cycles of need through family engagement, life skills, mentorship, and access to resources that lead to healthier futures. Our focus is lasting transformation within families and communities.

As we enter our 15th year, we’re starting strong with a bold goal:
$5,000 in 5 days.

We know it’s a big goal — but we have big plans for 2026.

2025 is almost over, and we are excited for what 2026 will bring! There’s still time to be part of our 2026 impact by making a financial donation in 2025.
