Phil E. Robrock, 87 of Huntington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Huntington on March 20, 1938, Phil was the son of the late William E. and Anna R. (Beaver) Robrock. He graduated from Union High School in 1956 and later served his country in the Army National Guard. On June 6, 1959, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jane M. McPeak, at the Union Church in Huntington County. Jane, his wife of 66 years, survives him.

Phil dedicated his professional life to a variety of endeavors, including being a lifetime farmer in Huntington County. He drove a bus for a few years for Huntington County Community Schools. An entrepreneur, he owned and operated Robrock TV Service and later Video Reflections, specializing in filming weddings. In his later years, he worked for Myers Funeral Home.

His faith in Jesus Christ was of paramount importance to Phil. He served in several areas and held leadership positions across multiple congregations over the years, including Union Church in Markle, Markle Church of Christ, and Chapel Hill Missionary Church in Markle, which he helped found. Most recently, he attended Emmanuel Community Church. In his free time, Phil enjoyed anything that was motorized—planes, tractors, and cars. He took flying lessons and enjoyed flying remote control planes. He loved to travel the U.S. in his motorhomes with Jane over the years and had made many lifelong friends along the way.

In addition to his wife, Jane, survivors include two sons, Rodney Robrock (fiance Mary) of Fort Wayne and Chad Robrock (Cathy) of Lutz, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Elliott; five grandchildren: Jessica (Deric) Brown, Trae Nelson (Kimmy) Robrock, Kylia (Logan) Rowe, Chandra Robrock, and Logan Phillip William (Kelley) Robrock; and nine great-grandchildren: Emma, Sophie, Luke Nelson, Jake, Talon, Vanessa, Henry George, William David, and Reece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Nelson Phillip Robrock (1984), and his sister Betty L. Hite (2024).

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Branch - Emmanuel Community Church, 7227 Bittersweet Moors Dr., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Funeral Services will immediately follow the visitation at 4:00 p.m. A family graveside service will take place on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:00 am at Union Cemetery in rural Huntington County.

Preferred Memorials can be made to Emmanuel Community Church, WBCL, or Lutheran Life Villages Inverness. All donations may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Charles "Chuck" "Beaverfoot" E. Iser, 78 of Markle and formerly of Anderson, passed away early Saturday morning March 14, 2026 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Chuck was a 1965 graduate of West Rock Creek High School. He later served his country in the U.S. Marines Corp, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968 where he received the Purple Heart. He was member of the VFW Post 2689 of Huntington and American Legion Post 160 of Roanoke. Chuck worked for 33 years at General Motors / Delco in Anderson. He later farmed for many years throughout Indiana. Chuck was an avid Hunter and Trapper, hunting and trapping all over the U.S. and Canada. He was a certified Hunting & Trapping Trainer for the DNR for many years. Chuck enjoyed teaching young people his craft. He was also a member of the National Trappers Association. Chuck did 1840 Rendezvous reenactments over the years. He also did several Drum Pow-Wows at the Pioneer Festival in Huntington. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman, spending as much of his time as possible out in nature.

He was born on March 19, 1947 in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Charles A. and Martha M. (Swartz) Iser.

Survivors include his daughter: Angie S. Iser of Warsaw; a granddaughter: Jessi Iser of Fort Wayne; a grandson: Tristan Iser of Benton Harbor, MI; three great grandchildren: Bentley, Ryland and Marley; a sister: Lula Iser of Warsaw and his life partner: Ruth Iser of Elwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle, IN.

A Memorial service will also take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, immediately following the visitation at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions can be made out to either the PTSD Foundation of America or the American Ex-Prisoners of War, sent in care to Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.

Mildred Jeane Leisure, 93 of North Manchester and formerly of Corkscrew Woodlands in Florida and Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday morning March 4, 2026 at the Waters of Wabash East. Mildred loved to travel and especially take cruises. She was a Santa Claus fanatic. Her home was decorated for Christmas year round and she loved to show off her collection of hundreds of Santa Claus decorations. Mildred enjoyed flowers, reading, and crafts. She could always make something out of nothing. Throughout her life she had lived in many places but to her Florida was always home. Most importantly Mildred loved to be with her family.

Mildred was born on September 19,1932 in Petersburg, Indiana, a daughter of the late Fred and Mildred (Jones) Kimbrel.

She was united in marriage to Ted Leisure on September 28, 1949 in Madisonville, Kentucky. Her husband survives in North Manchester.

Additional survivors include three daughters: Sherry (Rod) Carlil of Joplin MS, Debbie Guingrich of North Manchester, and Cindy Deel of North Manchester; three sons: Terry (Laura) Leisure of Albania, Mike (Laura) Leisure of North Manchester, and Steve (Theresa) Leisure of Orlando FL; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a great great grandson.

To honor Mildred's wishes there will be no public services at this time.

Betty L. Finton, 86, of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at the Heritage Pointe of Warren. Betty was a 1958 graduate of Huntington High School. After high school she attended beauty college. During her career Betty spent several years working for Kmart before retiring from food service at Crestview Middle School. She was a member of Bippus Calvary Church. Betty loved spending time with family and grandchildren.

Betty was born on June 14, 1939 in Huntington a daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Yeater) Baker.

She was united in marriage to Max Schenkel. He preceded her in death in May of 1970. She was then united in marriage to Charles "Bill" Finton on February 15, 1975 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2024.

Survivors include three daughters: Nancy (James) Truitt of Huntington, Connie (David) Buzzard of Huntington, and Suzette (Tom) Tallman of Huntington; a sister: Judi Neuenschwander of Bluffton;and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first and second husband.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Bippus.

Barbara R. "Barb" Girvin, 99 of Markle, passed away on Wednesday noon, February 18, 2026 at her residence. She was a 1944 graduate of East Union Center High School, Wells County, and later graduated from the Lutheran School of Nursing in 1947 as a Registered Nurse. She served in the US Nurse Cadet Corps from 1944 - 1947. She worked at Wells Community Hospital, mainly in the delivery department, for 28 years retiring in 1988. Barb was a lifetime member of the Markle Church of Christ. She was an honorary member of the PSI IOTA XI Alpha Nu Chapter of Markle, she was also a member of the Child Welfare Club of Huntington, Markle Historical Society, and the PI Auxiliary Chapter of Huntington. Barb's grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved the flowers in her garden, reading the paper everyday, and she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, and even in her later years she continued to solve those puzzles better than someone half her age. She was a wonderful and positive Christian lady and always had a great outlook on life.

Barb was born on September 9, 1926 in Markle, Wells County, a daughter of the late George C. and Cressie I. (Haflich) Caley.

She was united in marriage to Hubert T. Girvin on December 19, 1947 at the Markle Church of Christ. Hubert preceded her in death on July 12, 2008.

Survivors include a daughter: Lisa (Brian) Street of Markle; two sons: Gary E. (Stacey Valant) Girvin of Savannah, GA; Vince A. Girvin of Markle; six grandchildren: Grant Girvin, Kerry Girvin, Garrett Girvin, Leah (Derek) Long, Tiffany Street, Gage Girvin, four great grandchildren, with one on the way, and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Larry Girvin; two brothers: William S. Caley, Donald C. Caley and a sister: Jaunice McClintic.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm with funeral service to follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.

Interment will be in the Markle Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made out to either the Markle Fish & Game Club Park, Markle Cemetery Association or Riley Hospital for Children all sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.

Gwendolyn "Gwen" R. Wilburn, 97 of Winter Park, Florida and formerly of Markle, Indiana, passed away on Monday evening, February 9, 2026, in Florida. Gwen had worked at the Markle Bank for several years before moving to Winter Park in 1955 to open the Commercial Bank at Winter Park, later Combanks. Following her retirement from the bank, she worked at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park as church administrator. Gwen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winter Park for many years where she served on various committees. She also served as a Trustee of the Florida United Methodist Children's Home and a member of the Council and Finance Committee of the Florida Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Gwen loved to travel and was the caretaker of the family as her loved ones aged. She had a quiet strong faith that she lived every day.

Gwen was born on March 4, 1928, in Huntington County, a daughter of the late Roy and Winnie (Fyson) Wilburn.

Survivors include two nieces: Marjorie Mautz and Joy Gilbert both of Markle; a nephew: Larry Wilburn of Fort Wayne and several great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Glenn Wilburn; three sisters: Mary Evon Wilburn, Enid Wilburn Overstreet, Olive Wilburn Jones and three nieces: Kathlyn Jones Kinsey, Sharon Jones Shumaker and Susan Overstreet Thompson.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, 125 North Interlachen Ave. Winter Park, Florida.

Private Family services will be held at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel at a later date.

Interment will be at the Spider Hill Cemetery in rural Bluffton, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Residing Hope Children's Home in care of Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.
