As the season comes to life, our 171-acre campus is beginning to bloom in every direction. And our residents get to enjoy this beauty every single day - morning walks, coffee with a view, and nature right outside their door.

Adventure Day at the Ark! 💚

One of the joys of life at Woodlands is the chance to explore new places together. This week, residents boarded the Woodlands bus for a trip to the Ark Encounter. It was a wonderful outing filled with discovery, good conversation, and great company.

We’re proud to share that the Woodlands Chapter of the Marshall University Foundation and Alumni Association was recognized this weekend at the 87th Annual Alumni Awards Banquet as the Emerging Chapter of the Year! 💚

This award recognizes outstanding alumni chapters that support Marshall University, and the “Emerging” designation highlights newer chapters already making a meaningful impact.

Several members of the Woodlands community were there to celebrate. We’re proud to support Marshall and the incredible alumni community that makes it so special.

Several residents from Woodlands had a great time cheering on the Herd as the Marshall University women’s basketball team captured the 2026 WNIT Championship with a 66-41 victory over Illinois State! 💚

Residents traveled to the game together to show their support, and there was plenty of Herd pride in the stands. Our residents always enjoy getting out and supporting Marshall and other great programs in our community.

Congratulations to the team on an incredible win!
