Physical activity boosts mood, focus, sleep, and long-term health! But we know it’s not always easy to fit in movement. Here’s ways to make it work for your family:
✅ Make it fun. Dancing, biking, playing tag, shooting hoops — if it gets them moving, it counts.
✅ Break it up. Aim for 60 minutes a day, but 10 minutes here and there adds up.
✅ Be active together. Walk after dinner, race to the mailbox, or try a family workout video.
✅ Ditch the all-or-nothing mindset. A little movement is always better than none.
✅ Make screen time active. Try movement-based games or stretch during commercials.
✅ Model it. Kids are more likely to stay active when they see you moving too.
