Our office will be closed today, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. We hope you enjoy a safe and joyful holiday with your loved ones!

Weโ€™ll resume normal business hours on July 7th. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room. For urgent urological needs, we do have a doctor on call.

We welcomed Dr. Jacob Britt to North Alabama Urology this September. Dr. Britt completed his urology residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in June 2024. Dr. Britt has availability for new patients in both our Huntsville and Madison locations.

Another medical milestone for Huntsville Hospital! ๐Ÿ™Œโš•๏ธ

Urologist Dr. Joseph A. Pettus just performed the region's first High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) procedure at our Governors Medical Tower. HIFU uses targeted ultrasound energy to destroy cancerous prostate tissue while leaving healthy tissue unharmed, with limited side effects. No incision is required, and patients go home the same day.

We're proud to be the first hospital in North Alabama offering this innovative treatment for patients with prostate cancer that has not spread beyond the walls of the prostate. ๐Ÿ’š
